My son loves this train, , even though he is just 20 months old. It's different playoptions keep him entertained with it for longer than usual. It has some small detailed parts that are a lot more sturdy than they appear. So far the train has held up several falls and bangs. I would buy it again. We love it.
My godson seemed to like the trains very much. He is only two, so he can't put them back together too well yet, but I think he will learn to. Although it would still be nice if the blocks stuck together more securely. Oh and one bonus is he has one of those table with the wooden tracks you can build and it glides along them perfectly!
